IG Wolf is a registered non-profit society which operates all over Europe and focuses on a manifold presentation of everyday life and culture of the High Middle Ages around 1193 AD which is as authentic as possible.

Since 1998 over 30.000 visitors have accessed our website. Because the internet has continuously evolved during that time, we decided to improve our webpresence as well. Finally the time has come: A more contemporary and representative version of our website is online, more adequately describing our society today.

On October 8th 2006 the IG Wolf has been bestowed with the cultural award‚ "Premio Federichino" in the course of an official ceremony in the collegiate church of Goeppingen-Faurndau. This annual distinction is mutually being awarded by the Hohenstaufen societies of Goeppingen, Jesi and Palermo.
